Note:  The original design Spacegard filter comes folded and has to be opened up, like an accordion, and must be assembled by using plastic flanges, pleat spacers, holding brackets or cardboard flaps.  

Why bother with all that?   We also offer an improved after-market pre-assembled unit that is much easier to install.  The pre-assembled unit is for Spacegard models 2200 & 2250 and 2400.  However, if you prefer the original design, please scroll down.   

What is MERV?....MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value.  An Independent laboratory will test the filter to arrive at the MERV. The higher the MERV, the more efficient is the filter.
